The Relocation Support Services Section will book your flight ticket after your visa is issued and you are ready to depart for Japan.
OIST will cover the cost of international and domestic flights through a specific travel agency.
Please note that only a one-way ticket from your current location (work or residence) to Okinawa, Japan, will be paid.
Important:
- Self-booked flights cannot be reimbursed.
- Only a one-way ticket will be arranged; round-trip itineraries are not allowed.
- You must enter Japan within the validity periods of your Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) and visa.
- You must be physically present at OIST on your joining date.

- Seat preference
- Bassinet (if traveling with an infant)

Prior registration before entry into Japan is highly recommended for all international travelers, whether first-time or re-entry.
One-way Accident Insurance for International Flight
One-way accident insurance is provided during your relocation travel.
The coverage period starts one week prior to your actual flight date and continues for 30 days from the initial coverage date.
