On September 3rd, 2026, 6 students from Okinawa Prefectural Naha Technical High School visited OIST.

From September 1 to 7, OIST hosted the Internship Program for National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Okinawa College.

The 16th OIST × Onna Children's School of Science was conducted from August 17th-21st, 2026.

On August 14th, 2026, 10 Nago Municipal Nago Junior High School Students visited OIST.

On August 12th, 2026, 30 Okinawa Prefectural Nago High School and Okinawa Prefectural Naha Kokusai High School students visited OIST.

On July 29 and 30, 2026, OIST participated in the Cabinet Office’s “Children’s Day for Visiting Kasumigaseki 2026,” offering science outreach activities for children.

OIST Hands-on Science Workshop, “Let's Discover Rocks and Minerals in Okinawa!” was held at the OIST Science Studio on July 25, 2026.

The Bottom-up Program for Senior and Junior High School Students was held on July 31, 2026

On July 30, 2026, 25 students from Okinawa Prefectural Kyuyo Senior High School in Japan and Srinakharinwirot University Ongkharak Demonstration School and Demonstration School Ramkhamhaeng University in Thailand visited OIST.

On July 28, 2026, 60 students from Edogawa Gakuen Toride Junior and Senior High School visited OIST.

On 27th July 2026, 21 Students from Saga prefectural Chienkan High School visited OIST.

On July 24, 2026, 40 students from Okinawa Prefectural Nago High School Affiliated Sakura Junior High School visited OIST.
