Tatiana Iakovleva defended her PhD in a public talk and a private closed exam with two external experts and a chair. Tatiana is the first PhD student of the QMU to defend and fingers crossed! Her thesis is on the limits of quantum sensing and the quantum Fisher information (qfi), and using Lie Algebras to help compute the qfi more easily. Well done Tatiana!
