Cathal Cassidy

I am a physicist, working as a Research Scientist at the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) in Japan. My central research topic is microscopy of functional materials, with a particular focus on electron microscopy and holography. My research interests cover a wide range of topics, and recently are focused on high-Z semiconductor crystals for medical imaging and astrophysics applications.
