The Birth of Integrative Microbial Science Community

On June 19, the Red Cross blood donation bus made its first visit to the OIST campus.

On June 29 and 30, the International Conference on Climate Change and Coral Reef Conservation, organized by the Ministry of the Environment and Okinawa Prefecture with the support of OIST and the University of the Ryukyus, was held at the OIST campus.

Young scientists from sixteen countries have gathered at OIST to participate in the Summer School and Workshop “Quantitative Evolutionary and Comparative Genomics (QECG).”

The 28th annual International Symposium on Space Technology and Science (ISTS) is being held in Okinawa this year, and OIST is there.

The West Court Apartments are now complete, and new residents have started moving in since early July.
