Leading two groups that will carry out radically different projects in electron microscopy and renewable energy resources, Prof. Shintake is just the kind of researcher we like to have around at OIST.

Dr. Tsumoru Shintake, who started work at OIST in September, previously worked at the SACLA facility at RIKEN, where he was the main accelerator construction leader overseeing 200 staff who built the C-Band main accelerator.
