Unna junior high school work experience program

Four students from Unna Junior High School participated in a workplace learning program at OIST on June 25–26.
This year, they gained a broad understanding of the research environment at OIST through experiences in various research unit and research support roles.

As part of the research experience, they learned about robotics in the Cognitive Neurorobotics Research Unit and took part in a quantum physics workshop with the Quantum Information Physics Unit.
In terms of research support, they participated in an interpretation workshop with the Translation and Interpretation Team and a social media workshop hosted by the Media Relations Section.

The students deepened their understanding of the cutting-edge research, as well as the important roles that support and communicate it — all at OIST.
