Kids Lecture in Kadena
On November 3, 2024, OIST hosted a Kids Lecture at the “Haisai! Ichariba Festival” organized by the Kadena Town Board of Education. Mr. Toshihiro Kinjo, a Research Support Technician in the Environmental Science and Informatics Section, gave a lecture on his work on the OKEON Churamori Project and on invasive species. In addition, participants used microscopes to experience the process of identifying fire ants.
