Buribushi Mini-Symposium – Open to All OIST Members

 Faculty Affairs Office (FAO) is pleased to announce the first Buribushi Mini-Symposium, to be heled on Thursday, February 19, 2026. All OIST faculty, researchers, students, and staff are warmly invited to attend.

The Buribushi Fellowship supports outstanding early-career researchers from around the world, enabling them to pursue independent research at OIST and to strengthen international academic exchange.
This mini-symposium offers a unique opportunity to learn about the fellows’ research in an accessible format and to engage directly with them through discussion and informal networking. Through the presentations and exchanges, the event aims to showcase the diversity and quality of research conducted by Buribushi Fellows, promote intellectual exchange across research units and disciplines, and strengthen connections between the fellows and the wider OIST community.

ぶりぶし(群星)ミニシンポジウム開催のお知らせ

Faculty Affairs Office（FAO）では、2026年2月19日（木）に、第1回 ぶりぶし(群星)ミニシンポジウム を開催いたします。
本イベントは、OISTの教職員・研究者・学生の皆さま、どなたでもご参加いただけます。

ぶりぶし(群星)フェローシップは、世界各国から優秀な若手研究者をOISTに招へいし、独立した研究活動を支援するとともに、国際的な学術交流の促進を目的としたフェローシップ制度です。本ミニシンポジウムでは、ぶりぶし(群星)フェローが自身の研究内容を分かりやすく紹介し、参加者とのディスカッションや交流を通じて、フェローによる多様で質の高い研究の可視化、研究ユニットや分野を越えた知的交流の促進、そして フェローと学内コミュニティとのつながり強化を目指します。
