Kick-off Meeting of Japan/Germany ASPIRE DIAMONDQTECH PROJECT in Germany

Diamond has many possible applications for quantum technologies and this has been recognised by both Japan and Germany in the funding of a bi-lateral large research project called "DIAMONDQTECH", which runs for 5 years and involves many universities and labs in both Japan and Germany - including OIST!
This project is led by Prof Fedor Jelezko (Ulm), and Prof Takeshi Oshima (QST) [in the above image].
In June both Dr Mojataba Moshkani [MJ] from the Quantum Machines Unit and Jason will attend the kickoff meeting from the OIST side, for this project. This kickoff meeting will be held at Ulm University in Germany. MJ is also representing OIST on behalf of the Early Career Researchers within OIST. The DIAMONDQTECH project has a large emphasis on supporting ECRs through networks, communications, training and other activities.
