We warmly invite highly motivated students and postdoctoral candidates to apply and join our research group during this exciting period of transition to the Institute of Biotechnology (IBT-UNAM). Our laboratory focuses on protein evolution and design, combining computational modelling, structural biology, and experimental biochemistry to address fundamental and applied challenges in bioenergy and synthetic biology. We are seeking candidates with strong curiosity, initiative, and interest in interdisciplinary research. Individuals with backgrounds in #bioinformatics, #programming, #molecular_biology, #protein_engineering, #biophysics, or related fields are particularly encouraged to apply. We offer a collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment with opportunities to develop independent ideas and contribute to innovative research at the interface of evolution, structure, and biotechnology.
Funded Master's and PhD positions
We invite prospective students to apply to the Postgraduate Programs in Biomedical and Biochemical Sciences at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
