From time to time, OIST faculty, researchers or staff may wish to donate the honoraria that were offered to them by an external organization (for engagement such as speaking at a conference/workshop) to OIST. The University is appreciative of such honorarium gifts and will issue a receipt to the legal donor (who signed the donation form) and acknowledge the honorary donor as appropriate.
If you wish to donate your honorarium to OIST, please choose one of the following steps:
A: Let the organization from which you will receive honorarium contact us directly by emailing: donation@oist.jp. A donation receipt will be issued to the organization but otherwise OIST will equally thank you for your honorarium giving.
B: Fill out the standard donation form in your name but indicating in the Comment section the name of the organization that will transfer the honorarium to OIST.
A donation receipt will be issued to your name.
