The buzzword around OIST is NEW, new buildings coming up, new name, new logo, new website and now a new OIST Facebook page. On 1^st November 2011, OIST joined the huge worldwide Facebook community with its new graduate university page, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University.

Whether you are or are not on Facebook be sure to visit the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University and like the page by clicking on the ‘thumbs-up like’ button.

The aim of the page is to keep OIST ‘likers’ updated on all things OIST from news, events, researchers awards, new pictures and films.

More importantly, the page let you have your say about OIST as a student, a friend of OIST, a visitor who took a tour around OIST buildings and gallery or just someone who wants to know about OIST from a social angle.
