Unna Junior High School Science Club activity - Harvesting honey
The Unna Junior High School Science Club members experienced harvesting honey for the first time with their beekeeping activities. We invited Tsuto Arakaki from Arakaki Bee Farm to teach how to collect honey from a hive frame with many honeycomb cappings. The honey collected in a centrifuge machine was further filtered and bottled by the science club members.
