SEED Program: Kanagawa Prefectural Atsugi Senior High School vistited OIST

Kanagawa Prefectural Atsugi High School students visited OIST.
The students attended a lecture on femtosecond science by OIST PhD student Amrita Mitra (Femtosecond Spectroscopy Unit) and joined a lab tour to explore cutting-edge research facilities.

OIST PhD student Alexander Henry Hodges (Quantum Machines Unit) gave a lecture and demonstration on superconductivity and magnetic levitation using liquid nitrogen, and Dr. Aysen Gurkan Ozer led a hands-on activity on medical suturing techniques, providing the students with valuable practical learning experiences.
