Outreach Class at Nakanishi Junior High School in Urasoe City

An outreach class was held at Nakanishi Junior High School on September 11, 2026, with 280 students participating.

Asaki Kataoka from the Neural Computation Unit gave a lecture about their research and journey to becoming a researcher and shared a message with the students. During the Q&A session, the students had a valuable opportunity to engage directly with a researcher by asking questions, each of which was answered thoughtfully.

Through the lecture, the students developed a greater interest in science and gained a better understanding of careers in research.
