OIST Kids Lecture "From Okinawa to Space - Girls Be Ambitious! -"

OIST hosted a kids' lecture, "From Okinawa to Space – Girls Be Ambitious! –", at the OIST Science Studio.

The guest speaker was Dr. Yuko Kakazu, an astronomer and Education, Outreach and Broader Impacts Manager at the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan (NAOJ) and the TMT International Observatory. During the talk, Dr. Kakazu shared her journey as an astronomer, introduced the wonders of the universe, and encouraged the next generation of students to pursue their dreams with confidence.

The lecture also featured interactive activities and hands-on demonstrations, allowing participants to experience scientific concepts in a fun and engaging way.
