On April 24th, 2026, 80 junior high school students from Okinawa Prefectural Kaiho Junior High School Students visited OIST and participated in a campus tour.
Muhammad Hamzah, a PhD student from Cell Proliferation and Gene Editing Unit, gave a lecture on their work for the junior high school students.
