Overview

Insects may look small, but they are full of beauty, mystery, and fascinating designs.

This kids lecture explores the hidden beauty and science of insects through both art and scientific reseach.

By combining insect art with cutting-edge research from OIST scientists, participants will discover how insects survive, communicate, and evolve — all while appreciating their unique shapes, colors, and structures.

This event is designed to be enjoyable even for those who may feel uncomfortable around insects.
