What is Aerials?
Aerial arts encompass a broad range of acrobatic, yogic and dance movements on a suite of aerial apparatus hanging from either fixed or movable rig points, at varying heights. The apparatus our club currently train on include the aerial hoop (aka lyra), aerial silks (aka tissu) and aerial straps.
Aerials at OIST
We practice in the Clay Factory usually on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from ~6-8pm. The style of the group is "open source" or "community teaching" without any certified instructors. We will teach some basics and foundations, but everyone will progress differently depending on their pace and background.
For more information please check our groups page (OIST internal only) or contact Jann.Zwahlen@oist.jp or Monika.Eggenberger2@oist.jp.
