Hiroyuki Fujita
After studying at Waseda University, Dr. Fujita moved to the United States in 1988, where he earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Physics from Monmouth College and a Ph.D. in Physics from Case Western Reserve University. In 2006, he founded Quality Electrodynamics, LLC (QED) a medical device development and manufacturing company based in Mayfield Village, Ohio, USA, specializing in MRI technology. As founder, president, and CEO, Dr. Fujita played a pivotal role in the development of cutting-edge technologies. In 2019, Canon Inc. acquired QED, and named Dr. Fujita the CTO of the CT-MR Division at Canon Medical Systems Corporation. In 2022, Canon Healthcare USA, Inc. established its headquarters in Cleveland and appointed Fujita as the Chairman. He is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Physics and Radiology at Case Western Reserve University, a member of numerous boards and an International Society of Magnetic Resonance in Medicine Senior Fellow.
