Kagoshima Prefectural Kinkowan High School visited to OIST

Kinkowan High School students from Kagoshima Prefecture visited OIST on 21st February 2024.

Mayuko Suwab and Toshihiro Kinjo from Environmental Science and Informatics Section taught the students about Native and invasive species in Okinawa and how to identify fire ants. The students also presented their research project to OIST PhD students and received feedback. After their presentation, the students were given a tour of the campus.
