Ryudai × OIST Research Collaboration Support Program: OIST Campus Tour for Researchers from the University of the Ryukyus

On July 6, the University of the Ryukyus × OIST Research Collaboration Support Program: OIST Campus Tour for University of the Ryukyus Researchers was held, organized by the University of the Ryukyus Research Promotion Organization. The tour was designed to deepen the understanding of OIST among researchers and research support staff from the University of the Ryukyus, while also creating opportunities to strengthen collaboration between the two institutions, including the promotion of joint research activities.

 

The program included an OIST campus tour, visits to OIST’s Core Facilities, and an introduction to OIST’s visiting programs. Following these activities, a networking reception was held at OIST Land neXus, bringing together University of the Ryukyus-affiliated members of the OIST community, including alumni and individuals with prior work experience at the University of the Ryukyus. The event provided a valuable opportunity for participants to engage in lively discussions, exchange ideas, and expand their professional networks.

 

OIST will continue to work closely with the University of the Ryukyus by providing opportunities for interaction and information sharing such as this event. Through these efforts, OIST aims to facilitate researcher matching and foster the development of new collaborative research projects between the two institutions.
