SEED Program:Fukui Prefectural Wakasa High School students visited OIST

Students from Fukui Prefectural Wakasa High School students participated in a poster presentation session on their independent research projects, where they presented their work and received feedback from OIST PhD students.

This was followed by discussion session with OIST PhD students. Through these conversations, students exchanged ideas about pursuing a career in science, student life at OIST, and research activities.

 

In the afternoon, Yuma Kajihara and Yuji Kanagawa (OIST PhD students / Neural Computation Unit) led a hands-on session. Students visited the Neural Computation Unit and learned about neural computation and robotics research through demonstrations, explanations, and a lecture.

During the campus tour, students visited OIST’s research facilities and experienced its cutting-edge research environment.
