STEP OKINAWA provides junior high school students in Okinawa with an opportunity to experience OIST’s cutting-edge research and internationally diverse research environment. The program is designed to foster interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) while encouraging participants to think proactively about their future. Eligible Participants Junior high schools in Okinawa
Participant Capacity Approximately 80 students per visit (flexible upon consultation)
Duration Approximately 90 minutes (The duration may vary depending on the number of participants.)
Program Schedule Weekdays, starting at either 10:00 AM or 2:00 PM (Flexible upon consultation)
Application Perio April to June 2026
