Fukuoka Prefectural Chikushigaoka High School visited OIST.

On Friday, December 5, 2025, Fukuoka Prefectural Chikushigaoka High School visited OIST.
During the visit, Dr. Ricardo Arturo Lopez de la Cruz, a Postdoctoral Scholar from Shen Unit, delivered an inspiring career talk to the students.
Mr. Hirashima, a teacher from Chikushigaoka High School, shared his impressions, saying: “The environment where researchers can fully dedicate themselves to their work is extremely appealing. We learned so much about the many strengths of your OIST.
Ricardo’s talk was also very engaging, and it seems that some students have become even more determined to pursue a career as researchers.”
Mr. Hirashima added that the visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to deepen their interest in science and reflect on their future paths, making it a truly meaningful experience.
