- If you wish to use images from our website, we kindly request that you provide the following information via the Press Inquiry Form: the image(s) you wish to use, the media outlet where they will be published or broadcast, and the corresponding URL(s).
- When publishing, please be sure to include the credit unless otherwise instructed: "Provided by Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST)."
- Modification and secondary use of image data are prohibited.

[Filming for media coverage]
If you wish to take photos or videos on campus, or interview OIST staff or students at campus, please contact us via the Press Inquiry Form. However, for filming purposes not intended for media coverage (e.g., personal use, social media, campus tour, etc.), no contact is necessary.
[Guidelines for filming]
- Prior to filming, please survey your surroundings to prevent blocking pathways or causing inconvenience.
- When individuals are potentially identifiable within the camera frame, always make sure to obtain their consent beforehand.
- Ensure to verify any designated restricted areas or activities marked by signs.
- Access to research buildings requires accompaniment by OIST staff.
- Refrain from touching equipment or facilities inside research buildings without explicit permission.
- While filming on campus, consistently adhere to requests from faculty, staff, or security personnel.
