Terms of Use for e-Resources
The following actions are prohibited by the Copyright Act and the license agreements of providers.
- The systematic downloading, manually or using auto-downloading software, etc., of multiple full-text files within a short period of time (downloading of multiple reference citations, e.g., into EndNote, is acceptable.)
- Reproductions or the redistribution of full text data.
- Using full text data for purposes other than individual use
Remote Access to e-Resources
To access OIST Library's subscription-based journals and databases, OIST employees and researchers need to use the VPN service provided by the IT Division. OIST employees and researchers are eligible for a Virtual Private Network (VPN), which allows access to restricted resources while off-campus. Please consider requesting VPN access from the IT Division.
