The Science Bridge aims to foster a partnership between Western and Middle Eastern neuroscience communities, with the end goal of creating “Twin Institutes” in those parts of the globe.

Okinawa’s forests are home to many colorful animal species, including these Calliphara exellens. Some of these species face conservation challenges from habitat loss and invasive species.

The Ryukyu robin (Larvivora komadori) is native to Japan’s Ryuku Islands.
