Postdoctoral researcher/Organometallic chemistry and catalysis

Position Summary:
In Takebayashi lab (https://groups.oist.jp/stg/satoshi-takebayashi), we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher who want to study iron organometallic chemistry and catalytic reactions based on the iron complexes and small molecule activation reactions.
This project will involve:
- Synthesis of organic and organometallic compounds using a glovebox and organic chemistry.
- Development and optimization of photochemical catalytic reactions using LED lights.
- Analysis of compounds and reactions using NMR, SCXRD, GC, GCMS etc.
- Hydrogenation reactions using pressure reactors (up to 10 bar).
- Development of a photo flow reactor.

Ph.D. degree in organometallic chemistry or organic chemistry with focus on development of transition metal catalysis.

Full-time, fixed term appointment for 1 year/2 years. Contract initially with 3-month probationary period (inclusive). This contract may be renewed.
