The Power of OIST Perovskite In The News

The Energy Materials and Surface Sciences Unit headed by Prof. Qi is hard at work improving perovskite-based technology, with two recent papers in the Journal of Physical Chemistry B and the Journal of Physical Chemistry Letters.
Researchers have both enhanced the lifespan of perovskite solar cells by identifying a cause of inner degradation and solving the issue with an extra layer of polymer, and developed a more reliable and versatile technique to manufacture perovskite LED lights using chemical vapor deposition rather than the standard liquid-based process.
