OIST Workshops

Every year OIST hosts international workshops and summer/winter courses – “OIST Workshops” – offering a wide range of scientific approaches and a broad overview of the according field of research. OIST Workshops not only aim to play an important role in the education of young scientists, but also to enhance cooperation with research and academic institutions in Japan and overseas. These educational activities also actively contribute to the promotion of the OIST Graduate school to the worldwide scientific community, by attracting young researchers to participate in a big variety of educational activities.

The Conference & Workshop Section is keeping a record of activities of academic meetings such as workshops or conferences held at OIST, to report to various government entities. We kindly ask for your help and support in order to keep an overview of all events taking place at OIST venues.

Please take a moment to fill out the following information regarding all unit-funded, section-funded or externally-funded events* organized by your Unit/Section as soon as the numbers are finalized.
(*Please note that OIST Seminars with a single speaker are excluded from the count. Also, information on OIST funded workshops and OIST partnership workshops is gathered directly by our section.)
