Construction Update

OIST has embarked on the construction of a new research laboratory building on the south side of campus.

Solar panels are being installed in the OIST Faculty Houses to test the Open Energy System, which promises to be viable and efficient sustainable energy system.

The new Child Development Center is ready to replace the temporary structure that has hosted the CDC since January 2013, doubling the number of children that the CDC can accommodate to 100.
