Description

Behavioral and neural mechanisms of motor control
Terufumi Fujiwara, Ph.D.
RIKEN CBS
Wednesday, October 22nd, 4:00 pm : Online talk at L4 E01 and Zoom

Animals have a remarkable capacity to rapidly, precisely, and adaptively control body movement. We use the fruit fly, Drosophila, to understand the underlying behavioral and neural mechanisms at fine resolutions. In this talk, I will introduce a couple of projects in the lab, establishing novel behavioral and neurophysiological paradigms to link single-cell neural activity to single-leg movement in walking.
