• Hear what the ORC Council has been up to since our last Assembly (PRP39 revisions, Researchers Booklet, Improving Communication at OIST, CluES Events, Career-Family Continuity Policy and more).

• Initiate or join any discussion you believe OIST researchers should be having.

• And perhaps… enjoy cake.

 

OIST Innovation talk title: Bridging the Gap from Discovery to Real-World Impact

Talk Description: OIST Innovation is dedicated to turning OIST’s groundbreaking scientific discoveries into tangible societal impact. The team offers a wide range of programs and initiatives, including:

• Proof of Concept (POC) Program

• Entrepreneurial support

• Intellectual property management

• Lab-to-Market training

• Industry collaborations

At the upcoming Assembly, OIST Innovation will present an overview of their structure, activities, and programs designed to serve and empower the OIST research community. This is a great chance to learn how they can support your ideas from lab bench to real-world application.

 

Message from the debate Club: Come join us at the first OIST Debate Club! Competitive debating is a fun way to learn and challenge your own views. We debate on science, society and all that stuff.
