Figure 3: Visualization of the Barred mudskipper, Periophthalmus argentilineatus, using non-invasive micro-CT technique. The pectoral fin musculature and fin rays are highlighted in colors. P. argentilineatus commonly inhabits mangrove forests and nearby mudflats and represents one of the most advanced mudskipper in terms of terrestrial locomotion. This species has the ability to climb trees.
