Figure 13: Knitted cloth fabrics that do take up charge under CDT exhibit charge decay over a period of hours (depending on fabric type) before relaxing to an asymptotic steady charge value which too varies widely with material. Peak charge, decay time, and asymptotic steady charge values are tabulated in table 1 below.
