ICONIP2025 Public Forum "Society of Humans and AI Agents"
Description
Today, AI has become a technology that everyone uses—often without even realizing it. From our daily lives to business, education, politics, culture and the arts, and even the frontiers of science and technology, we are now living in an era where AI is inseparable from human society.
To coincide with the hosting of ICONIP 2025, an international conference that brings together AI researchers from around the world, the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) will hold a public forum where researchers, citizens, and students can come together to explore key questions: How will AI evolve in the coming years? How should we engage and coexist with it? And how can we anticipate and mitigate the potential risks and downsides of AI?
Leading researchers at the forefront of AI development will join as speakers and panelists to share their perspectives on the new frontiers of AI, followed by an interactive Q&A session with participants. The talks will be delivered in Japanese, with English subtitles provided on-screen through AI translation.
