OIST is currently seaking tenue and tenue-track faculty members. In this open call, quantum science and technology is one of the targeted areas of research. OIST is actively seeking applications from women and underrepresented groups to meet our target of hiring at least 50% women in this current search.
The OIST Center for Quantum Technologies in Okinawa, Japan, invites applications for senior and junior Post-doctoral researchers within the framework of COI-NEXT [Link]. The general topics are:
The Project PI and the post doctoral researcher will be working along with the groups of Professors Kae Nemoto [LINK] and Thomas Busch [LINK]. Both positions are one year with possible extension up to five years (Project PI) and three years (Postdoc).
We are seeking applicants with excellent scholarship and creativity on these topics, who are also willing to collaborate with the national project partners wherever appropriate.
The positions are available from January 1st, 2024.
Applications should include a statement of research interests and plans, a CV, and summary of previous research. The names and contact details of two referees should also be provided.
