Researchers at Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University (OIST) and Osaka University report the genome sequence of the parasite, dicyemid, in a study published in Genome Biology and Evolution on XX. The parasite is comprised of only 30 cells and is found in the renal sacs of octopuses and other cephalopods.
