Technician Position in Cognitive Neurorobotics Research Unit

Position summary

Cognitive Neurorobotics Research Unit is now seeking highly motivated technician with experience in software programing on AI (deep learning) and robotics with C++ and Python skills.

  1. C++, Python skills
  2. College or technical college graduate
  3. Basic English skills (reading, writing, speaking) are needed so to work in an English environment and communicate with other non-Japanese unit members.
  4. Excellent attunement to record-keeping and good laboratory practice
  5. Organized and productive attitude


  1. Relevant work experience
  2. Basic Japanese communication skills

Starting Date 

After 1 September 2017

Term & Working Hours 

Term: Full-time, fixed-term appointment for 1 year initially with the possibility of renewal. Contract initially with 3-months probationary period (inclusive).

Working hours: 9:00‐17:30 (Discretionary)
