Dr. Albrecht Wagner's profile

I am an experimental physicist wanting to understand the world at its smallest and largest dimensions (from elementary particles to the development of the early Universe) and have engaged in the development of instrumentation which makes us see the “invisible.” I was attracted to OIST for several reasons. It is a model for doing brilliant cross-disciplinary science, for providing new impulses to the sustainable development of Okinawa, and for becoming, as an international university, a new model for Japan.
