The workshop covers broad topics from quantum and condensed-matter physics ranging from electron systems on quantum liquids and in semiconductors to mesoscopic devices and electro-mechanical nanoresonators. Leading experts will discuss progress towards quantum computation using these systems and recent state-of-art experimental techniques.
We expect about 45 oversees and domestic guests. The scientific program will consist of oral talks and posters. The workshop is co-organized by Quantum Dynamics (Konstantinov) and Physics and Biology (Miller) Units and sponsored by OIST Graduate University.
